Several author boxes on a page

    Hello,

    First of all, great plugin this is. The best author bio box I could see !

    I want to have a team/group page where I want to show, via the author boxes, all the members of my team. So I tried the shortcode. This works for the first user, but the second user is not working anymore. It seems to display my admin user (ID 1).

    Is this a bug ? Could this be a feature request to be able to display several author boxes on one page ?

    This is definitely possible.

    As we have set up similar in our demo: https://demo.accesspressthemes.com/wordpress-plugins/ultimate-author-box-lite/all-templates/

    You can check the Ultimate Author Box shortcode section in the How to use section of the plugin to get detail information on variation of the [ultimate_author_box] shortcode.

    Hi Sunil,

    Indeed, on your page I can see several bio. I checked already the shortcode guide and these are my shortcodes that I’m using on my post/page :

    [ultimate_author_box user_id=”2″ template=’uab-template-2′]

    [ultimate_author_box user_id=”3″ template=’uab-template-2′]

    I am using template #2 and my users ID 2 and 3 do exist. First user is well displayed, but then the page displays twice (2x) my admin user with ID 1. Seems a bad reset of ID in a loop or something.

    I will try to debug this if this feature should work out of the box.

    Ha ! Works fine. Stupid mistake of my part. When showing the author box in a post, it will automatically add the author box after the post, so that’s why I obtain the admin user box after my post.

    Also, the shortcodes needs to be written as text in wordpress and not as visual text.

    Works fine now as I can display 2 authors on the same page.
