I have been testing this module and these are my observations in testing. Overall I am very impressed and think that this could offer much and save lots of time in development. The fact that there are a number of comments simply means I was looking hard at it over all.

Blog Style 1 and Blog Style 2
This widget would be improved with more control over styling. The read me option displays when there is no more to read and there seems no control over the readme text. The post meta displays, and it would be desirable to be have the option to suppress it. It would be good to be able to determine the alignment of the featured image

    Divider
I had problems with this unit when I used it with page builder in a two panel then 1 panel layout. If I used it in the top level it causes the page to disarray. It seems ok on a full column layout. I would like to see this developed with some more fancy lines.

    FAQS and Toggles
We need a better layout formatting for this. At present on my site it displays with a slider underneath, even when set in a full width stretched panel. It would be good if the FAQ’s supported either Tags or Categories, so you could filter them and be able to display appropriate FAQ’s on appropriate pages/posts. You need to have better control of the formatting, especially header text. Also the marker seems to be > with no control over it. The heading text then appears of the next line in normal text, you should be able to choose which of the H1-6 formats you would like to use.

    Service Box
This could be a handy unit for odd purposes. There are lots of formatting options. The button (for me) is letting it down at the moment. and the button text delivers a training > where as I was expecting it to behave like a siteorigin button widget,

    Spacer
This is an interesting idea. I have used another one that did not require a widget but simply added a spacer in pixels to the TinyMCE widget bar, which I think was more useful.

    Tabs
This is a very good widget. I would like to see the option to place the widget title inside the tab bar rather than outside it.

    Testimonials
This widget is fabulous. It would be improved with the addition of tags or categories, and some more styling options, such as the option to display the title. I suspect that this module posts comments to the site as ‘pings’ when you edit it. Odd behavior I don’t understand.

    Hi philipbarrington,

I appreciate your detailed feedback & Suggestions. I am working on next updates and will do best to take your suggestions as well as much possible in the next updates.

As you seems a fan of SiteOrigin page builder and must have been actively using it, i would also ask you that is there any type of widget/module you think we should add to our plugin beside the other useful widgets we have.

    Thanks again for your input.

Thanks for the response. Yes I am a total fan of siteorigin – Page Builder, Widget Bundle, CSS. I will think about what else could be added to the bundle and give you feedback. I was wondering about the divider, and maybe we could do some svg to act as dividers. The should be able to respond to the thickness setting and be stylish. If you are interested I could probably develop a few svg files for you to play around with.

yeah i am fan of these tools as well, they are so awesome and much better than some of the paid tools if we compare. I therefore jumped in to develop this plugin which was actually for a project of my client but than i further tweak it and publish to the wp repo. However i definitely now have plans to keep it in active development beside my clients work.

I will get back to you if i need your help for the svg for sure.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Munir

One widget that might be useful is a custom menu widget which allowed to to display inline or stack, perhaps using something like siteorigin buttons to make the menu. I have used shortcode menu but the styling is a bit ordinary.

For complex sites where some pages need a sub menu this might be a handy approach.

    Hi Philip,

I see, ao it should pick a menu like the default menu widget and 2 options for this to make it inline or block / stacked. Along with other styling options. right?

    Thanks,

I think it should pick a menu like the default custom menu widget does in WordPress. The option to display in-line or in-block is clearly very important. I think you will then need some styling options. Clearly Text and Background colours for Active, Passive, and Hover, as you may not want to inherit the menu colours from the theme menu for a sub menu.
