Several menu items are highlighted under the GeneratePress Theme
-
Since my English is only rudimentary, I would like to apologize in advance for having to consult the Google translator.
After I’m already getting desperate here, I would like to ask you for help now, because despite trying it out several times according to the documentation, I just don’t know what to do anymore. Also here in the support forum I could not find a workable solution for me. Unfortunately, I have to say that CSS is not one of my strengths.
The starting situation is as follows:
I have created some WordPress menu links under the domain https://wema.notecloud.de, as well as 3 sections with an anchor each on the start page, which are now all highlighted in the menu. So both “Home” and Sections 1-3. And I know that the multiple highlighted links are definitely from the WordPress theme.I use the GeneratePress Theme with GeneratePress Premium, as well as an animated menu from the GeneratePress documentation in the CSS of the GeneratePress Child-Theme.
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-menu-hover-animationAfter trying out a few things, I reset the “Page scroll to id” plugin to standard and only set “Offset” to 55 pixels.
The scrolling itself works wonderfully. I just don’t know what I have to set in the plugin itself and how I have to adjust the CSS so that only one link is highlighted at a time.
My CSS looks like this:
https://wema.notecloud.de/wpwema/wp-content/themes/generatepress_child/style.cssI would be extremely grateful if you could help me here.
Thanks so much
