Several options not available like logo, testimonials widget?

  • Hi,
    I’ve first tested the Canapé theme on a wordpress.com free blog and it worked fine.

    Then I installed this theme on a self-hosted wordpress installation, and when clickick ‘customize’ on the theme i get about half the options.

    Examples:
    – under ‘site identity’ the option to set a logo is no longer there
    – homepage widget options like ‘testimonials’ are all gone.

    Any idea how I can get the theme to work on a self-hosted wordpress?

    Help would be much appreciated

    When you activate Canape, you should see this notice in the Dashboard:

    The Jetpack plugin is required to use some of this theme’s features, including: Site Logo (no specific module needed), Menus (Custom Content Types module), Testimonials (Custom Content Types module). Please activate Jetpack by WordPress.com.

    After you activate Jetpack, be sure to activate Testimonials via the Custom Content Types module:
