    Hello,

I am having some issues since last update I made.

First of all, some students are active enrolled, but when tried to access they received message informing that they are not enrolled.
Those courses do not have any kind of expiration date or something like that.
I already clear cache from inside the website. I told them to clean their own cache.
When I access they’re panel to test it, I am able to access the courses. However they can’t. Every day more and more students are complaining about that.

Other problem refers to editing classes content. Where I already had some content is not showing.

    Hello

I also add a video showing that the content loads when I click to edit it, but when page finishes uploading the content disappears

    Thank you

    Hello,

My student has just sent me a video showing what’s wrong with her login.
I added it to the same link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/6CLWz9J3HBaP7e6N8

But she is speaking in Portuguese, so let me explain to you:
She is logged in, as you can see when she rolls the page up. But when she click on a class, the system tells her she is not logged in yet.
    What it may be?

I installed two plugins to track student’s activities:
    – Loggedin – Limit Active Logins > which will just limit the number of login for the same user. I set it as 1, but the system will log out the old session to allow a new one.
    – WP Security Audit Log > which should only describe activities, but it does not limit or restrict nothing.

I have already deactivate the plugins, but the problem with the content in classes and memberships continued. So I assumed the problem with students’ login was not related to those plugins as well.

So… any idea why Lifter is not recognizing student’s login?

    Thank you!

    Hi again

I’ve just add another image to that link
A student just sent showing that “mark lesson complete” is not showing to her.
I logged in and it is showing to me!
There is a lot of issues and I can’t solve any of them because everything is just fine to myself. But not to my students.
    What can I do?

    Thank you

There is something wrong with Chrome <> LifterLMS that cause the overlapping issue, until it get fixed, just use another browser like Firefox to edit the course page.
    Cheers!

    Hello,

Thank you! I’ll do it until then.

    Hello,

The editing issue is solved aparently.

However, students continue not able to see many courses they are enrolled.

Ssome students are active enrolled, but when tried to access they received message informing that they are not enrolled.
Those courses do not have any kind of expiration date or something like that.
I already clear cache from inside the website. I told them to clean their own cache.
When I access they’re panel to test it, I am able to access the courses. However they can’t. Every day more and more students are complaining about that.

Is there some estimation when it will be fixed?

    Thank you

I’ve noticed from the previous screenshots that you’re using SG-optimizer plugin, I think minifying the js files would do some issues.
So till the support answers you, try to investigate around this plugin by using it with light settings/deactivate it…etc

    Hi,

    Thank you! I’ll try it!

    Hi @0rbita,

I apologize for the delay in response! We try our best to make sure we get through all the support tickets and I’m so sorry this slipped through the cracks!

I’m also glad you were able to get some help with this!

Also, yes we have seen issues with SG Optimizer. With caching plugins there are some pages that you will want to make sure to exclude to make sure LifterLMS functions properly.

There is some information on this here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/caching-issues-faqs/ if you either turn off SG Optimizer or make sure to exclude the pages listed in that document this should help with student access!

Let us know if you have any further questions and again I apologize for missing this post!

    Thanks and take care,

    Hello,

    Thank you for your response.

I excluded the pages from caching. However the problem continues.
So now I deactivated the plugin to test.
The weirdest thing is that I can login using Chrome (even when I login using as user and not administrator) and I can watch every course without a single problem. But there are too many students of mine that can’t.
Anyway… do you think it could be some issue because I installed Loggedin and WP Security Audit Log?
I will ask my students to test it while SG Optimizer is deactivated.
But that trouble is going for three weeks now. What can I do to solve it?

    Thank you,
    Natasha

    @0rbita,

It really sounds like you’re having a lot of caching issues. Caching is *really really good* when you want EVERY SINGLE USER to see the same thing but when you want each student to see dynamic content based on their user access (like any student) caching breaks the website.

We encourage our users to work with their webhosts to ensure caching is *disabled for logged in users of any role, not just admins*.

It’s really hard for us to debug issues like this in the forums because we can’t see what your students are seeing or your website or if you don’t follow the instructions in our sticky post we can’t even see what other plugins, themes, etc, you’re using.

You could start by following the sticky and posting a system report per the guidelines there.

You could also see if this is a user-roles issue and install the User Switching plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/user-switching/) which will allow you to see *exactly* what your students are seeing.

It’s possible that you have non-caching related issues going on as well but based on what you’re describing it very much sounds like you’re having caching issues.

Let me know if this helps,

    Hello,

    Thank you for your help!
I had already disable my caching for that website since my web hosting does not support disable it only for logged in users.
And hope I had post the code from System Report correctly.

    Thread Starter 0rbita

    (@0rbita)

Also, I had a different user that is a student role to test over things.
And I always can watch courses, so I don’t think that is the problem.
By the way, regarding caching issues, as I said I disabled dynamic caching for my website.
I had now disable also static caching and Cloudflare.
So my website is currently 100% without cache.

    Thank you,
    Natasha
