Thanks for your feedback. We’ve considered making it a 50/50 chance whether you are asked to identify the sole woman or the sole man. We are not sure if that will confuse people who have played it before one way, then see it the other. But in any case does that address your concern?

I appreciate that gender is a sensitive issue but this is an excellent example of how humans and computers process images differently– making this ideal for stopping spammers. With all the ways that society distinguishes by gender, we did not think it would cause much offense.

Gender is only an issue when people are oversensitive. I am a MALE and PROUD OF IT, and my gender is fun! I enjoy being a man very much!

Sorry that you have deal with such nonsense. FunCaptcha is a GREAT plugin. If someone is offended by the concept of “gender fun”, then perhaps they should seek help. They obviously are far to easily offended and need to perhaps concern themselves with issues of real importance.

You can be proud, I’m proud to be a man too but it doesn’t give you the right to be condescending. There is no excuse to not be aware and accepting of diversities.

What uptight neurotic ninny would give this excellent plugin the lowest 1 star rating solely because they got all hissy silly about an innocent picture of a lady amongst a few guys? What a tool. It could be an orange amongst a few apples, does that make them orange’ists? Radical 3rd wave feminists all seem to be crazy enough anyway, but the male apologist ones appear to be even worse.

You call others condescending but then go on to call women a “diversity”, as if they’re a minority, like they’re different to some kind of norm? Now that is extremely condescending towards women.

They’re just as diverse as men are. They’re not a minority, the percentage of men and women are nearly 50/50, about men on about 52% just very slightly more.

What would you know about discrimination anyway? People with handicaps and disabilities face far wose. They have far lesser legal rights and protection, and are far more discriminated against in society than everybody regardless of their gender, race, colour or sexuality, just by even leaving their front door. They don’t bang on so much about playing the victim card nearly half as much, especially over such trivialities.

Besides, In this day and age, women do have equal rights, perhaps moreso now. They have equal pay (yes for real), more protection in law than ever before, and especially far more rights in family court law than good fathers could ever dream of having, which I would give up my right to vote just to have total equality. In this respect, guys now seriously have less fundamental rights than women anyway just by that one alone. Maybe you should fight for their corner a little more. Did you know that more than 40% of domestic abuse victims are actually male?

Anyway, giving this amazing plugin the lowest 1 star rating just because you’re seeing things that aren’t there makes you look absolutely ridiculous. Maybe you’re some kind of plugin competitor.
