SFTP not working?

    Hi, is SFTP “Save Backup to” method working?

    While I have set the correct informations for the fields (tested many times in a terminal to make sure they’re OK) that is FTP host by its name, FTP port 22, FTP user and password (copied and pasted) and a Subdirectory (or none), I keep getting this message:

    connection has failed!
     I could connect to the FTP server but I could not log in.<br />Please check your credentials and try again.

    Thanks for the reply, but no I did not give wrong details (tested a number of times here and there) and, in the mean time, I switched to another backup plugin where SFTP has been immediately working “out of the box”.
