SG Migrator crash after this message…

    Hi,
    SiteGround Migrator doesn’t complete the transfer process after 24 hours.

    It’s a small and easy website: 3 plug-ins and 770M of disk space.

    In siteground-migrator.log after the line “The transfer request has been sent to the SiteGround server” the transfer doesn’t proceed.

    Any reason why?

    Hey there @aribot,

    Would it be possible to restart the transfer by canceling it and adding the transfer token again? Make sure that the transfer token is not expired.

    Currently the https://andreafelice.eu website is hosted with SiteGround. Are you trying to migrate the same website to another SiteGround account?

    Note that the transfer will work only when the migration destination is a SiteGround account.

    Hello,
    I’m not trying to migrate the same website to another Siteground account or from SiteGround to another provider. I’m trying to migrate from another provider to Siteground. Now it’s hosted with SiteGround cause I’ve solved via ftp.

    Usually the errors you received can be caused by restrictions placed on the remote host server which prevents our plugin to connect to the SiteGround server. In such cases we recommend contacting the remote host support for assistance.

    Still, I am glad you managed to migrate the website successfully.

    Hi Elena,
    via SG Migrator the files are transferred but the procedure crashes, so the email is not sent and it is not clear if everything is ok. But if you check in the SG dashoard in file manager the files are all there. I have transferred other sites from the same provider to SG and there is no restriction on their part. I still don’t understand why the plugin crashes even though the files have all been transferred. But it is so…
