shady business with the “premium” version

I gave 2 instead of 1 star rating because this plugin actually works fine in the free version. When you go to the website to unlock premium features, it says that the license is only $3. Once I paid, I found out that the cost is recurring every month! Who does that? Why not do $0.75 and then charge every week? Just be direct and ask for $36 with an annual license, otherwise you create unnecessary accounting work.

Once I cancelled my recurring payment, I was unable to download the updated pro version from the plugin site. I purchased the so called monthly license 5 days ago. You’d think that you’d have access to download the file until the monthly period ends. Not in this case. Now it asks me to buy again to “renew” my license.

The whole issue is not even about that. When I went back to the www.ads-software.com free version, the plugin now shows that there’s a new version available, but when trying to update, it throws an error message. Sigh…
