Shaped row divider and content areas

  • I hope somebody can help.

    How do I add shapes to content areas and header images such as in the how Maids In Black works section?this As you can see in the content boxes there is a v shape in the middle. I have also seen this on other sites at the bottom of the banner.

    I would really like to know how this is done. Can I do this myself with code? because I would rather do it myself than buy a theme.

    I hope to hear from someone.

  • The content area back is a dark background done is CSS with default z-index. The ‘triangle’ is an image with a z-index of 2 (making it be on top of the dark background).

    FYI also, the site is using a custom theme.

    To discover this, use your browsers web inspection tools, review source code and CSS.
