Share A Link on Twitter – 2 pop-up windows

    When the Twitter button is clicked on any blog post — and I include a sample for reference — 2 Share A Link windows pop up. I’ve tried it in IE and Mozilla and it happens with either browser. I also have the Yoast SEO plugin activated. I mention this only because I’ve seen some posts in the forum about conflicts between Social Pug and Yoast SEO and wonder if there’s some duplicated setting that I can’t find.

    Hey Ian,

    Thank you for reaching out with this. It seems there’s a conflict with Twitter’s official follow button, that’s why the two pop-up windows.

    I will push an update with the fix to this within the next few days.

    Thanks for the update, but it doesn’t seem to have solved it. Still getting the two popup windows. I’d be happy to pay for an upgrade to PRO if you think that will solve it. Let me know.

    Hey Ian,

    I had to push this recent update for another reason and it does not contain the fix for the two pop-up windows when sharing through Twitter.

    If you don’t plan on using the PRO features there’s no need to upgrade, the next update with this fix will be available on Wednesday.
