share-buttons plugin by Huge-IT unresponsive

Hi all,
I’m having some trouble with the Share Buttons plugin by Huge-IT. I installed it using the dashboard on my wordpress, no problem with the installation and activation, which I did after my installation.

However, the plugin doesn’t appear in my active plugin list at all, even though it shows in my navigation on the left-side of my dashboard.

When I access the plugin in my navigation, I’m presented with a more or less blank page, showing only a fraction of text, which is broken by empty spaces.

The plugin seems to be active yet it is not, and I cannot remove the plugin from my wordpress, as it is not shown in my active plugin-list.

When using Filezilla I can see the wp-share-buttons folder in my wp-content/plugins folder, however I’m unsure, whether removing the folder will remove the plugin entirely from my site.

Any help or advice would be most appreciated.
