Share buttons popping up elsewhere in sidebar and other places

try the function Hide Buttons in Widgets (is_main_query). You find it in general settings here: https://take.ms/KJR0f

If this does not work, your frontpage is developed – i would say – non conform.
So you need to deactivate automatic insertion and use than any of the shortcode options directly in your theme template: https://docs.mashshare.net/article/67-shortcodes

Thanks Rene! That’s what I did – added the shortcodes wherever I needed as the Hide Button option did not work.

However, I have one major issue now:

I can no longer see the post or page contents for editing! If I deactivate the Mashshare plugin, the WordPress editor is visible again.

Please help?!

Are you sure this is resolved when MashShare is deactivated? MashShare is not loading any files there so i wonder why you have the issue. Please send me a mail to support [at] mashshare.net
