Share count frozen to 0 + Not updating facebook posts

Thanks for using WP Socializer.

#1 – Share count does not update: Can you please check if you have filled in the facebook app details in WP Socializer –> settings ? Enter you URL in https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button/ and check if your URL has any like in the preview window. If there is a mismatch then let me know.

#2 – Social networks fetch the image from something called “open graph tags” – You need to set those information for every page. Like image, title etc.. please find this page on more info – https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-add-facebook-open-graph-meta-data-in-wordpress-themes/

I’m using Yoast SEO to manage the open graph tags, it works.

The problem is :

– I add a post on WordPress without image
– Then I update it and add an image
– I share the post on facebook or another social
– The post on the social has no image cause his first version hadnt one ??

When I create a post with an image in the first version, WP Socializer displays it on Facebook, it works this way !

I need to know if the plug-in can update the Thumbnail!

I think Wp-Socializer is ignoring the app_id and admin values.
I added also a like button plugin, completed the actual numbers, and this is showing the fb sharecounts.

There has been a known behavior/issue with Facebook.

We are not getting any like count.

Can you please enter your URL in https://www.sharedcount.com/ and see if it shows correct count ?

Seems like we can never retreive like counts in Facebook.

Facebook has stopped giving share counts outside because of “privacy concern”
