• Hi,

    I am using addthis plugin for my WordPress website. For all pages except one, I need the page URL to be shared. However, for one particular page, I need a custom URL to be shared. I read https://www.addthis.com/academy/setting-the-url-title-to-share/ and also checked the “Advanced Settings” and can see “addthis_share” in Developer settings. If I change this setting, it changes the URL for addthis button on all pages.

    Can you let me know how to change the share URL only for a particular page? Is there a way to add it to the shortcode [addthis tool=”addthis_inline_share_toolbox_h5d0″]?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks,
    Priyanka

    Hi Priyanka,

    Unfortunately there is no shortcode for the requirement. Can you try using the below script tag?

    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    var addthis_share = {
    url: “THE URL”,
    title: “THE TITLE”,
    description: “THE DESCRIPTION”,
    media: “THE IMAGE”
    }
    </script>

    Elsa.
