Share Post to Social Disabled

    I have Jetpack installed and several social media accounts connected, but the toggle to share a post is greyed out. How do I toggle the share post on?

    Hi @mipikale,

    Have the posts already been published when you’re seeing the greyed out option? The ability to re-Publicize posts is a paid Jetpack feature.

    If you’d like to post your site’s URL here, we could do some more targeted troubleshooting.

    Following up on this: this is a bug we introduced in Jetpack 9.6, our apologies. We’ll get this fixed in Jetpack 9.6.1. You can follow our progress on this here:

    @jenhooks Yes, they were previously published but never pushed to FB since the site was not intended to be live. I updated the dates and tried to publicize but Jetpack would not let me. How long do you have after publishing to publicize?

    I’m afraid that’s not a matter of time. If a post was already published, Publicize will not be triggered for that post, even if you modify the dates. Publicize will only be available for new drafts that are published or scheduled.
