• My readers are baby boomers. They don’t do the social scene ??
Soooo, could you tell me how to go about swapping the default tab to be the email tab?
They’ll share my posts by email and I’d like to make it as simple as possible…
All I need are the line numbers to tinker with in the code. I can figure out what to do to them I think.

    Thanks!

  • This is just some basic CSS changes. You’ll need to move the display: none; from #akst_email to #akst_social and change the class="selected" from one tab to the other around line 458.

Ooooops! Just noticed a problem. The page generated when clicking Share This from an RSS feed is missing the social web stuff.
Once again…please point me in the right direction to fix this.
    Thanks!

Sounds like you’re using the unreleased version from SVN.

There is an override CSS for the page, you’ll need to make the appropriate changes there based on the changes you made to the classes previously.

    Yes, I am.
Thanks for the tip, I’ll proceed with that.

Thanks for a great plugin and the instructions on making the e-mail tab the default.

Is there a way to suppress share-this on particular categories? I want to keep it from showing up in my asides category that displays in a sidebar (using the K2 theme)?

Is it possible to customize the email that is sent out to the receiver once someone uses the email tab of the Share This link?
