Shared IPs?

    Hello,

    How does this plugin account for the possibility of a bad bot crawling the blackhole page from a shared IP with other legitimate domains?

    I understand that we can remove IPs from the blocklist, but then that effectively just opens the site back up to attack from the same bot.

    Great question. This actually addresses a deeper issue with shared domains/hosting. Currently the plugin does not distinguish between domains on shared setups, it’s entirely based on IP address. If you have any ideas as to how to differentiate domains, please let me know. Thank you.
