• Hi,

Had to stop using this plugin, it was killing my server resources when posting to networks.

Like many who promote affiliate links, I normally post to social networks, sending traffic direct.

However, using this plugin, links posted to these networks were first redirected back to my site and then redirect again to the affiliate link which created 503 server resource timeout issues.

If your on a dedicated server no issues, but for me sadly, not on a shared server.

  • Hi @rik0399,

Highly recommend you use the htaccess module, this would pretty much eliminate this issue.

    Hope this might help!

    Hi Josh,

    Thanks for that,

What or where is htaccess module please?

    Many Thanks

Hey @rik0399, it’s a Pro module. I recognise your username of course, but I can’t recall if you were a Pro user or not?

If you have Pro installed you will see it under ThirstyAffiliates->Settings->Modules tab, just check to enable and then it should start working straight away.

    Hope this might help!

    Hi,

    I am not a pro user sadly….

But thank you for your time, I will proceed to uninstall.

If and when am able to move to a dedicated sever, I will be sure to try this excellent plugin again.

    Many Thanks
