Shared user account ?

    Hello,
    I’m using WC to build a “in house” digital menu order system for a restaurant.

    With this system every customer sitting at a table can place orders through a custom shop page and other customized templates (cart, checkout, …).

    I’m setting pre-defined user accounts on my WP installation so that each restaurant table is a already registered user account and restaurant manager can easily understand wich table placed the order.

    My question is: if i have more than one customer at the same table, can all customers use the same account at the same time to place orders?

    Yes, that’s possible. That said, if multiple people are sharing the same account, you’ll lose track of which customer ordered which dish. You can only tell which dishes had been ordered using a specific account.

    Yes, i know single customer order will not track but I think it will be enough to know which table (and related account) the order came from.
