I have two blog sites that in the past year have generated over $100 worth of clicks.

I have yet to receive any sort of payment.

I’ve submitted at least two tickets to Shareaholic, and keep receiving the response, “payments are delayed”.

Has anyone actually been paid be Shareaholic? This to me is looking more like it’s a big scam.

    Hi FireMyst,

As background, we are in the process of moving to a new payment processor (powered by Tipalti). This is a big move with a lot of moving parts and is taking longer than we anticipated to complete. The reason why we’re upgrading is to provide choice with regards to payment methods (adds ACH, wire, etc in addition to PayPal) and it’s also generally a more robust and compliant platform.

We completely understand your frustration, know you want to get your earnings and are racing to complete this transition ASAP. It is a priority for us. I do not have an exact ETA for when this will be complete but I expect is to be done soon for everyone. We appreciate your patience through this process.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly – jay at shareaholic dot com

Any users here been paid since May/June/July 2015, or even at all?

Any users here been notified of any such “payment delay” before this posting?

My concern is Shareaholic website and the money portal tell us to sign up and we’ll get paid for the clicks; I’ve been a user since the program started and haven’t seen a cent despite your own website indicating that my blogs are way over the payment amount thresholds.

And yet another month goes by without any payments.

Anyone else think Shareaholic is a complete sham? I’m about ready to write WordPress to have the plugin removed because obviously Jay and company aren’t paying anyone.

I have tried to contact them many many times and at last two months back someone had mercy on me to tell that they will pay soon. but after two months yet to happen… My dues already exceeded more then USD 400 hundred…

i want to have wait little more time then i will see what other options available to cope with such agencies

my [Link redacted] still showing their ads

    Thanks for your feedback @the1zia.

January 6 and still no payments received.

Maybe we’ll feel the love by Valentine’s Day?

So Shareaholic doesn’t pay its debt? Good to know because i was thinking to activate show ads option. I’ll switch to AdSense.

Dump them and get with Taboola. They pay promptly. These people are

It’s a scam. They have not paid anyone anything and will probably never do. Over a year to “have a system to pay out bla bla bla” is just awesome bullshit.

This is a scam and will soon end up with criminal charges, i’m sure.

Anyhow, WP should ban them as of now thou…

I just don’t know what to think. I feel so discouraged with this plugin. I have displayed their ads since May of last year. I have well over $200 due me and I have never received a penny. This morning my earnings dashboard is not displaying. I can only hope they are changing the dashboards as promised. ??

They’ve finally invited me to request payment for about half what they owed me. That is to say, months after my last earnings, I checked my control panel, and it still gave me numbers totaling about $1.97.

Since then, they’ve revised my earnings numbers to about $150. Cute, huh?

And now they’re offering me about $101.

All I can say is, thank goodness I had the sense to dump these clowns after two months and find Taboola. Better quality ads, better CPMs, and they always pay on time, within about a month.

I got no response to my request for clarification on Monday. Please get the word out to every blogger you know! I have worked with dozens of ad networks since 2003, and I’ve never seen more BS than this.

    • They got rid of half my earnings months after I earned them, which no other reputable network does.
    • Every single payment method they offer comes with a processing fee! Even ACH/EFT. I have never, EVER come across that.
    • Given their record, I wouldn’t trust them to pay on time under any circumstances.

Might as well try one of those “work from home” scams. Whatever you think you are earning, or have earned from these clowns, deduct 55% to get a more realistic number after their fancy accounting and ridiculous fees.

And then get with any other ad agency in the world, pronto.

Shareaholic is possibly the worst plugin ever..
It slows down the website like crazy and they load a lot on external resources without your consent (even if you disable them in the options).. Just check out https://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ to see what I’m talking about..
Plus as it came out in this post they don’t even pay what is due..
As soon as I removed this plugin the speed of my site skyrocketed. It’s incredible to see how many people are still using this plugin.

Now, after weeks of ignoring my latest support ticket, “Greg” wrote me asking for screenshots to prove my earnings. I logged in, and surprise! They have changed my site statuses to “not verified” and removed all trace of earnings, and removed the button where I can request earnings.

Why did he even bother to write back? They’re obviously just keeping for themselves all the money generated by their ad sales. They are committing fraud, and we need to get the word out to their advertisers. Or the relevant district attorneys.

We definitely need to let other people know about this.
