    Hi,

I find some posts of my website couldn’t show up in facebook after Publicized. Then I run facebook debug, it shows:

“Sharing App ID missing :The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.”

I’ve tried deactivate and reactive Jetpack, and reconnect wordpress.com, but all not working.

I’ve also run Jetpack debug, everything looks fine.

How can I fix this problem?

    Thanks!

  • Hi there – the ‘Sharing App ID missing’ error you see is a red herring and doesn’t impact whether or not your posts Publicize to Facebook. The reason you see the error is because you are using Jetpack’s own Facebook App for Publicizing and the app is shared with all our Jetpack users.

Can you let me know which posts haven’t been Publicized correctly?

I had a look at the link you provided earlier but from our logs it’s showing that Facebook was able to Publicize it successfully here:
