Sharing buttons – not to display when posts in sidebar

    Hi – amazing plugin – has anyone else found an easy way to NOT show sharing buttons when posts are in the sidebar? Or any particular sharing plugin which works best with TPG Get Posts? I want to show sharing buttons when the posts are on a page but not when they are in a sidebar……….any help from any other users would be much apprciated!

    Usually the social media icon are displayed by registering code to an after post hook. Then after each post, the code is called and the icons displayed.

    To turn this off, you will need some php & WP coding skills. The extension to the base plugin provides a pre and pst shortcut ‘hook’ which will allow the filter for the social media to be unregistered, process the shortcode, then re-register the social media filter.

    I don’t know of a simpler way to achieve the results.
