Sharing buttons won't connect to Facebook

    Today the Facebook sharing button brings up the “Connect to Twitter. Connect to Facebook.” When I click the connect button, I get a blank sharing screen, then it just goes back to the “Connect to…” popup. Rinse. Repeat. It never does manage to connect to Facebook.

    Sharing from the floating bar works exactly as expected, as do all other networks (Twitter, Tumblr, Stumbleupon, etc.)

    Is this related to the 500 error on sharing buttons from yesterday?

    Sorry about that! Our engineers are aware of the authentication issue to connect with those services. They are working on it now. In the meantime, I disabled multi-share on your site so you won’t need to connect to those services. It will just automatically show the share window.

    Also, this is not related to the 500 error. That issue has already been resolved.

    I’ll keep you posted when we have the authentication issue fixed. Stay tuned.
