    Hi

If I share a page with the built-in share buttons I get the following error message on the share text on the platform that I am sharing for Facebook anyway.

    “error javascript not activated…”

it shows the website address, page title, and fields that I have fine, but then shows the above. I have tried different permutations in the admin panel. Showing summary, summary off. Strip HTML, leave it in. However, it shows the same every time.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hello, currently I do not see native sharing buttons on your site. Also I see some modifications, probably they are the reason of this issue.

    Hi

Sorry I was sending my site out to a few estate agents the other day and I wanted everything to be perfect so I just added a third party share plugin.

I’ve added yours back on. If you share on a facebook you will see the error message. Thanks for quick response and apologies for wasting your time on the first request.

    Hmmmmm

I still get the error in chrome, ie, and firefox. It couldn’t be something to do with my settings, could it? if so many apologies. Anyway I’ve added a screenshot just to show you. but if it doesn’t happen when real people do it, no worries.

This is not error message, this is the text, the text of what you have inserted into page description. Look at HTML source of the page and search for this text. This text was inserted or generated by a shortcode you placed into description field. Also this description is used as description while sharing on facebook, that is why it appears on the share page.
