Sharing links instead of images

    I just installed this plugin and I’m not sure if it’s working correctly.

    When I hover over images in blog posts, I get the sharing icons, and I can click them and post to my social sites. That all works as I’d expected.

    What gets posted, though, is the page title and a link to the page itself, rather than the image and any title/alt text associated with the image.

    My images are mostly slightly smaller versions with links to the full-sized images. Would those links be causing the problem?

    Sorry for the delayed response.

    The image will share only meta details of the page, If there is no meta details it will pick from page title.
    The image alt description is not able to share it with. Bcoz most of the case people may not fill that!.

    Hope it clear. If you need a custom version with alt tag, go for PRO version and will customize it for you.

    My biggest problem is that the images themselves are not being shared, at least via Twitter. I can click the Twitter icon & in the box that appears, the title & meta detail of the page show up, but there’s no picture that posts.

    Facebook doesn’t seem to be working at all – I can click it & nothing happens.

    LinkedIn & Google Plus both seem to work just fine, and I don’t have a Tumblr or Pinterest to test.

    Oh the plugin doesn’t support media sharing on twitter.

    The media sharing option with twitter is more complicated, will try to include it in next version.

    If you are using any SEO plugin like SEO Yoast. it will create nice and correct meta details for you.

    rest all works fine FB you may faced some issue with APP creation that’s why its not worked for you.

    just follow the instruction on my website to create FB APP. make sure the domain WWW or non-WWW matches while you creating app. that is the main reason many people face on FB APP creation.

    I have just tried it and am I right in thinking it doesn’t integrate with photocrati galleries?

    Hi edgehouse,

    Its not integrated for photo galleries , The images inside the post can be shared using this plugin.
    Any customization like no link back to site options will enable for PRO version only.
