• Hello, all my messages were deleted from the relevant topic of similar issue. So here I post it again.

    I wasn’t able to solve the issue with sharing that doesn’t work anymore – even after updating the plugin to 8.4 version, re-authentificating several times, and cleaning cookies… Here are all the screenshots, including the “succesfully shared” status, when nothing in fact was shared: https://i.ibb.co/rv3x09g/linkedin.png

    At another thread, I discovered that it’s not possible to have headlines with brackets anymore… Can it be that my issue arises from this problem? I always have brackets in the posts’ headlines, and also other characters like plus, minus, list marker, percentage, etc.

    If I upgrade to the paid version of the plugin, would this issue be solved? Because I feel it’s extremely time consuming for such an issue, I’ve already spent hours on reporting here and stucking on my website… Now also the comments are being deleted, so I need to repeat, write down again, make & upload screenshots again, etc. That’s so strange indeed….

    I think the brackets issue is completely unrelated. I am not the one deleting comments either, I don’t have that ability – I wish I did though haha.

    I am not sure what the issue could be here. But one thing I would encourage you to try, and sorry in advance if you have tried this, but can you please try sharing a post without a featured image? When a post has a featured image there are a few additional complexities involved which might cause an issue. So if you try with a post without a featured image, that could help us potentially isolate the issue to being an image sharing issue rather then a general sharing issue.

    Also could you please try sharing a new post, rather then trying to share an existing post. The reason being is that LinkedIn can block shares done repeatedly for the same link as it thinks its spam.

    So I’ve just tried sharing after removing the featured image from the post – didn’t help. I also tried sharing another post, and then compiled a new one with similar content – with no effect either ??

    At this time I am not able to repeat the issue on my end. I think I know where this issue might be arising but unfortunately it’s not something I can solve on my end. I have created a support request with LinkedIn and I am waiting to hear back from them. Thanks,
