Sharing roles across the sites – multi site

    Hi there,

    I’d like to use the same role groups throughout the sites in my multi site network.
    Currently 1 base site and 1 sub site.
    After activating the plugin on the site network, I found each site showing button to create initial pages.
    On both sites I created UM pages, then, on base site I made new role “guest”.
    Looking into sub site there’s no “guest”.
    Looks like each site is independent.
    Is is possible to share the same roles on both site?
    Or able to control how to apply UM settings depending on each site?

    Hi @satokowp

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible to sync roles. The only data that syncs are the wp_user and wp_usermeta tables. Ensure that this option “Disable Cache User Profile” in the subsites is checked in WP-Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Misc, so that when you update the Profile in the Main site, it will sync the data in subsites.

    Understand that cannot be synced.
    I made the mentioned settings on the sub site.
    This is very useful plug-in anyway.
