Sharing to Facebook not including images

    Hi!

    Long story short, I schedule posts to be posted on Facebook at certain days/hours, and since a few weeks ago the posts don’t include images. I also have Jetpack to share with LinkedIn, and it is working over there properly…

    Any idea how to fix this?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    When you share a post on Facebook, or when Jetpack Publicize publishes a post to your Facebook page, Facebook crawls the page and looks for Open Graph meta tags in the head to build a complete post preview (with an image, title, description, …).

    Jetpack automatically takes care of these Open Graph meta tags for you, so you don’t need to install any additional plugin.

    You can see what Facebook sees by entering one of your posts’ URLs in Facebook Debugger:
    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

    If you do not see any errors there, it means that Facebook is able to gather all the necessary information to build a proper post preview. Beware, though, that Facebook may not always use that information; even if you’ve added Open Graph tags to your posts via Jetpack or another plugin, it’s then up to Facebook to use these open graph meta tags or ignore them.

    I hope this clarifies things a bit.
