Sharing via twitter does not include URL

  • I just installed Quiz Master Next and created a simple quiz. It’s a great plugin. I’m sure after a few days when I’m more committed to it I’ll be buying two of the add ons, but right now there is one issue.

    When I use the %TWITTER_SHARE% on the result page, it allows someone to tweet out that they took the test, but the URL to the test does not make it into the tweet. For what it’s worth, when I insert %FACEBOOK_SHARE% the URL DOES make it into the Facebook update.

    Thank you for choosing to use this plugin. Facebook allows a passing of a URL along with the message. However, Twitter wants the url included with the message. So, since that field is limited to only 140 characters, I leave that part out so plugin admins can decide to add the url or not and use a shortener if they want. You can simply place the url to your quiz in the twitter template to add it to your quiz.
