Shashin refresh not working

Sorry for the late reply. Are you still getting this error? (I just want to make sure it wasn’t a temporary probem at Picasa). If it’s still a problem, please give me the link to view the album at Picasa or Google+ (that is, the link you put into the “add albums” form – then I can try to add the album on my testing site).

No need to say sorry, i know this is not your regular job. I really appreciate your plugin and all the work you put into it.

Some further info that may be usefull:
– This album is not new, and has been working without any problems for several months in shashin.

– All my other albums (>100) show the same kind of error message when I try to refresh them.

– This album (and all others) are still displayed without any problems on my website, only the new added pictures are not visible in shashinn.

I was having the same error and found it was caused from albums that I deleted from Picasa Web. The way I found the issue was by accident but the way I found other deleted albums was selected “Sync All” from the bottom of the Tools>Shashin page, after getting the error return to the tools>shashin page and look at the dates under “Last Sync” here I could see albums that had not synced for several months, I then verified these were deleted albums and deleted them on my Shashin page. Magic the problem was gone.

Mike if you could look at the sync feature for deleted albums that would be great.

Thanks for the info, but unfortunately this didn’t work for me.

Not one of my 100+ albums will sync, they all give the error message.
These albums are not deleted from Picasa Web, they show up normally and can be viewed in WordPress and direct in Picasa Web.

One more information that may be important;

In Shashin I am using pictures from 4 different google accounts.
It seems that the error only occurs on one of the accounts (unfortunately the most used one ??

I will do some more tests to verify this.

Sorry again for being late. I just added the album you gave the links for (using the Picasa link) on my local site, and it added just fine. I then synchronized it without any trouble either. So I’m not sure why you’re getting an error saying Shashin can’t parse the feed. If you want to contact me through the contact form on my site ( https://www.toppa.com/contact ) we can try to do some debugging by email (I can give you some debugging statements to add to the code through the plugin editor).

The sync error disappeared today after updating to the latest version of Shashin.

I still have no idea what has caused this problem, but for now it works ??
