What’s the best way to automatically add order tracking info to PayPal?

Are you using a 3rd party plugin to add the tracking info for the order? If so what plugin?

Do you currently have a process in place for adding tracking info to the WooCommerce order? Or do you just add the tracking info by logging in to paypal.com?

i wanna use a tracking plugin of course. but i want to sync trackings to Paypal (& stripe) automatically

choosing a tracking plugin is a hard decision, I’m considering Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce,

Unfortunately I don’t have a recommendation for a shipment tracking plugin. The reason I asked those questions is:

1. If there is a predictable way in which these plugins add tracking, we can automate the assignment of the tracking # to the PayPal order within paypal.com
2. If these shipment plugins all use different ways to assign tracking to the order, then we can add a button to the order details page that lets you add tracking info to PayPal

I think it’s a good idea for us to add a way for tracking to be added to the PayPal order. If we can automate it, that would be best but the next best option is to provide a way within the order details page for that to be added.

the most used free tracking plugin is Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce, they claim to have this feature in there pro version

Version 1.0.24 now has functionality to add the tracking number to the PayPal transaction via the order details page.

@phaq You can just test it. Using Sandbox mode or an existing order from your site, you will see it when you click the “PayPal Actions” button on the order details page of an order.
