• Solution – somehow the last release of WP E-Commerce changed the way target market/location settings are handled within categories and sub-categories. Basically if a parent category, and its sub-category have a target market indicated, as well as the overall shop settings (even if it’s the same market/country), it causes some issues with the shipping part of the shopcart.

Try turning off all target markets – except in the overall shopcart settings, to fix.

  • I have done this. All product categories have No target markets selected, but overall shopping cart has All Selected.

The issue I’m having is with my USPS Webtools API. Doesn’t seem to be calculating shipping. I just want to make sure that the internal shipping calculator and the external shipping calculators aren’t conflicting somehow. If I’m using the External calculator, should I delete all my internal settings and Turn off Enable Shipping Settings? The video didn’t do a good job of explaining how to keep these two from conflicting with each other and how to properly set up the Webtools API.
