Shipping Calculator issues

Hi Guys

I am currently using the Transdirect plugin on this website: artino.com.au

We have inserted a shipping calculator on the sidebar of all our product landing pages so that web visitors/users can calculate the shipping and make a selection of the prices thereof.

however we have run into a few snags and have been asked by our developers to contact you.

here is a basic outline of what we have:

issue 1): When we get to a product/product landing page we like and we want to calculate the shipping cost of that particular product, the calculator doesn’t work unless it is added to cart:

1) select a product/landing page
(i.e https://www.artino.com.au/product/athena-900-freestanding-white/)
– The calculator doesn’t work before you add to cart
– Only after adding the product to the shopping cart, the product page reloads with it in the cart
2) Calculate shipping (On the left hand side of the page)
– typed in a random post code and chose the first location option (i.e. 3061, Campbellfield) in the list that is populated for choosing
3) I then get the pricing options that show in a new drop down
– I have not chosen a price just yet)

In conclusion for issue 1; the calculator only works when added to cart.

NOTE: We have also found the same issue when NOT logged in as a Worpress administrator. (In woo commerce we have allowed Guest checkout.) Sometimes we just get ‘No Logins Provided’ result on the Calculator results box – even after adding to cart.

issue 2: After product is added to cart, a location is chosen for shipping, a price is shown for the cost of shipping – price shown and selected, if we change our minds after the price/shipping cost selection is made and remove the item from cart, the calculator still shows that price and shipping company option chosen and does not reset itself to zero.

Could you please get back to me as soon as humanly possible on what to send our developers to see what needs to be done to get this working correctly?
