Shipping charges after flat rate

As I understand you have a flat rate shipping for purchases under 50, but some orders are getting this same flat rate even if they are over 50, correct?

Can you please confirm for us the URL of your website? I checked the one on your profile (https://www.loddesign.ie/) but could not find products to try this out.

You mentioned you think this might be happening when people change the order after getting the flat rate. Would you be able to test this?

Can you please share a screenshot of the order details from the orders that had this issue? You can find the steps to do it here.

What plugin are you using as a payment getway?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.

Sorry for taking so long to replay but yes it us still happening,

So we have figured out it is when the customer changes his mind and adds to the order, like to reach the minimum free shipping amount it doesn’t clear the flat shipping rate for the under 50, so still charges the flat rate – (7 euro for under 50)

This could be due to a caching issue or a conflict with another plugin that interferes with the WooCommerce shipping calculations.

For better assistance, please can you share a copy of the following:

• System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
• Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
• Screenshot of your your shipping settings. For screenshots, you may use https://snipboard.io

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here.

Meanwhile, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

• WooCommerce transients – Clear
• Expired transients – Clear
• Clear template cache – Clear
• Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
• Clear customer sessions -Clear
• Product lookup tables – Regenerate
• Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate

Regarding the error you shared, it seems there’s an error with the “Added to Cart Popup WooCommerce” plugin. Can you please deactivate it and check if the issue persists?

Also, I noticed your WooCommerce version is not the latest, can you please update it to 8.7, and also update any other plugin that needs it and your theme?

I think it’s sorted, I di everything here and deactivated add to cart, cleared cache everywhere and fingers crossed it seems to be fine for now,
