I’ve done a fair bit of googling and searched a little on the forum but didn’t find anything.

I have set up two shipping classes in WooCommerce:
    – $12 shipping per item
    – $12 shipping per order

For the per item shipping class, rates are multiplying properly when:
    – I add multiples of one item
    – I add multiples of multiple items
    – I add items from a single vendor or multiple vendors

For the per order shipping class, the shipping rate stays constant regardless of the quantity of products in the cart. However, if there are other items in the cart that cover, the per-order shipping cost becomes absorbed by the per-item shipping cost.

Is there a way to prevent per-order shipping fees being absorbed despite the presence of other shipping costs?

    Hi there,

I don’t fully understand the setup you have here – are you using shipping classes as defined at https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-shipping-classes/? If so, how are you assigning multiple shipping classes to the same product?

Logging in and logging out seems to have fixed the original problem. Perhaps it’s just one of those things, but I’ll do some more testing to be sure.

However, something of the same nature else persists.

I have two products set to the class “$12 per order shipping.” In the cost settings, the calculation for that class is set as “12” and base rate is set as “0”.

    A) When I order 2 x Product 1, the shipping is $12
    B) When I order 2 x Product 2, the shipping is $12
    C) When I order 1 x Product 1 and 1 x Product 2, the shipping is still $12

The first two instances are what I want to happen. However, in that last instance, how do I make it charge individual shipping per order for both products, not just one rate for both products?
