    Hello Wojciech,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand that you would like to hide the shipping method on the cart and checkout page if the product’s shipping class cost is not applicable (N/A) or is set to 0.

To provide you with the best solution, I would like to confirm if you intend to hide just the shipping cost (which is zero). Or do you want to remove the Shipping Method which begs the question of how would customer complete the checkout process? Understanding this will help me tailor the guidance to your specific needs.

Meanwhile, it would be helpful to see a copy of your site’s System Status Report to ensure there are no underlying issues that might affect this change. Here’s how to get the report:

    1. Go to your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to WooCommerce > Status.
    3. Select ‘Get system report’ and then click ‘Copy for support’.

After you’ve obtained the report, please paste it into a new Gist at https://gist.github.com. Once complete, simply paste the Gist link here in your reply.

I am here to help and look forward. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi Zubair

Exactly – I would like to hide the shipping method on the cart and checkout page if the product’s shipping class cost is not applicable (N/A) or is set to 0.

    Hey, @zajac007!

    Thanks for the report.

But do you mind clarifying your goal further so we can make sure to guide you in the right direction?

If shipping is not applicable, do you mean it is a virtual product?

If not, can you share examples of this situation so we can better understand?

Furthermore, I noticed your WordPress version is outdated. Can you please update it?

We recommend keeping everything updated. Regularly updating plugins, themes, and WordPress, helps maintain your site’s security, performance, and compatibility while ensuring you benefit from the latest features and improvements.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi

    Please check it:

    Hey, @zajac007!

    Thank you for the screenshots.

But do you mind sharing more details about the products and your goal?

I see one of your screenshots has the settings for a flat rate of zero. Do you mean to have that product with free shipping?

And you want that when a product has free shipping, it does not show the shipping at all, is that it?

You also mentioned there are situations where the shipping is not applicable. Are those products virtual/downloadable?

Onde we know more, we will be able to assist you further.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hey
Sending additional clarification. As you noticed on one screen Shipping class cost is equal to 0. I expect this class option (free shipping) will be unavailable. Just shipping classes with cost more than 0.

    Hey, @zajac007!

As I understand you added a shipping option which is flat rate of 0, but you don’t want it to show as as shipping option, is that correct?

Do you need it to exist? If you don’t, the easiest way of it not showing as a shipping option would be do delete it.

But if you need it to be there, you will be able to hide it by using custom code.

While we can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy, we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources.

You can visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there too.

I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in and help you out further.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with, or if we misunderstood your goal.

    Have a wonderful day!
