Shipping classes are not linked directly to price like this. Shipping classes should group products by type, which can then be given certain flat rate costs.

Okay thanks. So if I put all the products with a Shipping cost of £3.50 into a group they will all come up with £3.50?

Is there anyway to put the shipping price on independently on the products and variations?

When you’re setting up the products in your store, go to WooCommerce>Products. Scroll to Product Data. Change from Simple Product to Varible Product. Click the Attributes tab and add whatever you need like size or color. Save. Then click Variations and tell WP to build your variations from the attributes you just created. When they appear, click in the blank space next to each one. A section opens where you can fill in all the details for that particular variation. You can enter different information for each one or the same, whatever you want. Go through all your variations and click Save. That should do it.

For a price per product, you’d need something like https://www.woothemes.com/products/per-product-shipping/
