    Hi,
I’m not sure if what I’m trying to achieve is possible with this plugin or not.

I want to set up some basic shipping rates for all products. Then if a cart contains a product with a certain class, it would use an alternative rate. If the cart contains two products, with two seperate classes then I would expect the shipping to take one of the shipping values, whichever is higher.

For example, Let’s say my standard shipping for weights 0-500kg is 4.95.
I have a product with shipping class ‘Double Pallet postage’, and another product with a shipping class of ‘Fridge Pallet Postage’. The idea being that any products associated with double pallet postage, then the shipping should always be a fixed value, and the same with fridge pallet postage. If Fridge pallet postage means the shipping should always be 50, and double pallet means the shipping should always be 100, then I’d expect the shipping for the basket to come to 100, as that is the highest value of shipping within all products inside my cart.

To complicate things further, I would have weight limits for those specific weight classes. SO for example, ‘Fridge Shipping’ would only come into affect if the products with that class had a weight exceeding 100kg.

I hope this makes sense. I have tried to achieve this so far but have been unable to find a way.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hi,

This plugin is pretty simple and doesn’t have conditions on shipping classes in the cart.

You can check out our advanced shipping plugin which looks suitable for the case you described. Here is an example configuration showing per-class shipping setup. It’s also possible to limit weight per each class specified in the example. Please contact us directly in case you have questions about the advanced plugin, since we shouldn’t discuss it here due to the community rules.

    Hi

    Thanks for the reply

I’ve tried using the contact form on the site. There is a small issue where it says it cannot contact the recaptcha service, so I’m not entirely sure it’s sending the emails.

If an alternative contact could be given that would be great. Otherwise I will wait to see if there is a reply,

    Thanks
    Lewis

    Hi Lewis,

I’ve just replied to your email there.

    Hi,
In your plugin screenshots, it includes Shipping Classes.
It seems that it works only for Pro version.
Please, could you activate this option or update the screenshots… to be compliant with WordPress spirit.
    Regards.?
