• I can save new 2 address for my account. They’re in different cities. So, i assume they will have a different shipping cost.
But when i choose my saved address, the “town/city” field on checkout page doesn’t change to the one that i have saved. And thus, didn’t updating the shipping cost on the cart.

is there something that i do wrong? or this plugin doesn’t support different shipping cost for each cities and only work with flat rate shipping?

This should work fine as normal as it should load in the saved fields and triggers the address update event the same as if you just typed in a new address.

Perhaps the town/city field isn’t saving properly for whatever country you have selected?
Are you able to provide a demo of the issue?

Or are you able to create an account on our demo site at https://woo-address-book.hallme.com/ and create some addresses that demonstrates the issue of the “town/city” field not updating to the one that is saved? That way we can look into any bugs that prevent it from changing.

    Thanks!

I have created an acoount on your demo site, and tried to create 2 different shipping address.

The problem is, your site using flat rate for shipping. So, when i change shipping address (yes, the saved address appear on the field), the shipping rate stays the same.

I’m not using flat rate, so the shipping rate is calculated from (i guess) field town/city or postcode. When i’m filling checkout field manually, the entry of town/city is populated AFTER i choose province. So, i’m not typing it manually. And the shipping rate is changed when i pick town/city.

Maybe that’s what causing the bug. Because when i make a 2nd address from my account dashboard, the town/city field is just simple text box, not some combobox which entry is populated from choosing certain province.

That does make sense it wouldn’t be able to fill in the town/city is a select box. What are you using to make the town/city field a select box? That might be something we would be able to add support for.

    Hi, Matt

Isn’t that default setting on WooCommerce? Please look at this demo site : https://demo.woongkir.com
At the checkout page, the entry on each field is defined from the previous field.
    (town/city defined after choosing province)
So, the shipping fee is calculated based on that location.
That website is using WooCommerce and Storefront theme.

I also try that on my other website which is using WooCommerce and Jannah theme.
