I have the same problem… I’ll be keeping an eye on this thread. Thanks for any help.
I also have the same problem. Spent hours on it so far tried everything. But I do like the overall feel of the plugin.
Thanks to the developer.
can you please post a screenshot of the order? on my template it says ie. “£9.00 via Flat Rate”.
I note the upgrade to 3.3.1 but it still prints the Billing Address on the Delivery docket and not the Delivery Address.
It would also be good to get both addresses on the invoice form as well.
I think something has changed as further investigation showed that it did work in the past.
@cteevee Billing/Shipping address display should depend on the WooCommerce settings (Shipping > Shipping Options > Shipping Destination). But thanks to your feedback I found out that there was a change in WooCommerce 2.2. This should be corrected in the next version.
BTW: Please open a new Support Post if you have further feedback on that issue because I have the feeling this has not much todo with the Shipping method.
Thanks but default shipping destination is set using shipping address. Been over that a dozen times.
Here’s the fix.
Open in an editor
woocommerce-delivery-notes/templates/print-order/print-content.php
and go to line 36.
Change === to !==
Save
Print away!
@cteevee, you are a genius. Thank you!
woocommerce recently changed the name of this option. which woocommerce version do you all use?
I’m using all the latest versions with Sommerce theme.
I just installed the latest update and am glad to see the above mentioned issue has been fixed.
Just wondering if the prices could be removed from the Delivery Note. The Delivery Note should have just the Delivery Address and the products and quantities.
The invoice is looking good now but a bold line separating the detail section from the pricing section would look good.
Thanks ppp for your input and effort.
@cteevee thanks for the feedback. more about your issue: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/exclude-prices-from-delivery-note?replies=2
I was hopeful that release 3.4.2 would fix the issue I’m having with the missing shipping address but regardless of whether I select Print Invoice or Print Delivery only the Delivery Address is shown. So, until this is resolved I continue to use Woocommerce 2.1.12 and WooCommerce Print Invoices & Delivery Notes 2.0.2, with Suffusion Theme. Maybe someone can offer hints how to resolve. TIA.
@cteevee I think this isn’t the best solution to the issue. Your issue stems rather from an unwanted combination of WooCommerce 2.1.x settings.
By default the shipping address is hidden when “Only ship to the users billing address” is activated. That’s fine but it can happen that this setting is activated without knowing it. Follow these steps to reproduce the issue and probably fix it:
- Go to the WooCommerce Settings an switch to the “Shipping” tab and locate the “Shipping Destination” section.
- Make sure “Ship to billing address by default” and “Only ship to the users billing address” are checked. Attention: The “Only ship to the users billing address” is only revealed when the other option is activated. And most probably that setting was activated but the other not.
- Save your settings. Note: Now only the billing address will be printed. If that’s your desired setting, you can stop here otherwise go to next step.
- Uncheck “Only ship to the users billing address”
- Save your settings. Note: Now the billing and shipping address will be printed. Continue to the next step if you want that your customers have to always enter both addresses at the checkout. Otherwise stop here.
- Uncheck “Ship to billing address by default” to oblige your customers to enter both addresses on the checkout.
I tried your suggestions, specifically “Make sure “Ship to billing address by default” and “Only ship to the users billing address” are checked. ” From what I see in the latest WooCommerce the option is either but not both. After trying various setting and regardless of whether I select Print Invoice or Print Delivery I still cannot get Shipping address to show. I’ll wait in the hope that perhaps some future updates will eventually fix this in my particular case. Meanwhile I remain stuck with old Woocommerce 2.1.12 and WooCommerce Print Invoices & Delivery Notes 2.0.2 and Suffusion theme. Sigh.
@piffpaffpuff, I’m getting what I need ie. printing a Billing Address and a Shipping Address … no problem there. I have checked the default to Shipping address. I think in the latest WPI&DN upgrade this was fixed as well.
I’ve been doing some more work on it and these are the improvements I’m working on or would love to see.
1. Adding the customer’s phone number position to be just under the delivery address. Helps the delivery guy. Not done – need help.
2. Move the Customer Note to be located just under the delivery address so when the form is folded it will be visible through a standard sized ‘Invoice Enclosed’ envelope. Done.
This helps the delivery guy when the note says “Leave behind front door screen” for example, otherwise it can’t be seen.3. Increase the font size of the addresses. Not done – need help.
4. Include the item price in the invoice. Not done – need help.
5. Change the wording to ‘Invoiced To’ and ‘Deliver To’ from ‘Billing Address’ and ‘Shipping Address’. Probably more to do with WooComm. But done anyway.
6. Remove the large white space between the addresses and the content. Not done – need help.
7. I would also like to remove the lines between each item in the content which would give it a more professional look.
8. Capitalize all address details – probably WooComm again.
TIA for any input.
