It doesn’t seem like this should be hard, but here goes.

I have a new client who ships some things Flat Rate and some things via USPS Priority.
The previous developer had installed ELEX USPS WooCommerce Shipping

However, I found no way to turn OFF USPS rates when the product this is shipped Flat Rate was put into a card. Both Flat Rate and the USPS options appears.

So then I purchased and installed the ELEX Hide WooCommerce Shipping Methods plugin. This almost worked, but not quite. I was able to hide the USPS on products that are flat rate, BUT if a customer put other things in that cart, the USPS option was turned off for them.

I feel like I’m running in circles here.

So how do I do this? One product category needs to be flat rate, others need to show USPS Priority rates and they need to both appear in the cart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi there,

Your best bet would be to use an extension called Advanced Shipping Packages, which will achieve just what you’re looking for; it’ll allow you to split the cart into multiple shipping methods based on logic you set up.

    Best,

    Ross
