Hi there, I have taken over the management of a site ( while I develop a new one ) and it has WP Simple Shopping Cart installed which I m not familiar with. Anyway, its all setup and has been working fine. The issue is that all of a sudden, the shipping is not being passed to paypal and does not add any shipping charges on checkout.
The only thing that is different is that I moved the site to a new dedicated server, but surly this would not have changed anything!!

There isn’t any profile based shipping setup in papyal
    the site is https://www.karloestates.com

    any ideas please?

Have you specified the shipping value in the shortcode? Carefully check the following documentation to see where there is a mistake:

like I said, I inherited this site and all was working, the only thing that is different is the server. Is there anything on the server that needs to be installed for it to work?

    the shortcode for items is

    $18.00 [wp_cart:Gilmour Maddison:price:18.00:shipping:0.001:end]

@michaeljb try changing the shortcode to the following see if that works better.

    $18.00 [wp_cart_button name=”Gilmour Maddison” price=”18.00″ shipping=”0.001″]

is there a paid support that I can pay to get help please?

Before you tell me to stop bumping, im not, I’m trying to get help

Well I must admit that this is the worst support for a product I have ever seen. I have even offered to pay for support and still the developer doesn’t come back to me.

Well its a pity that I couldn’t get this working but seeing as there is NO support whatsoever, I will delete the plugin and use woocommerce, plenty of support with this one.

To the developer, you just lost a sale, you need to communicate with potential buyers if you want to stay in business

    Side note here:

The author of this plugin was not telling you that. That came from the moderators and not the plugin author. And yes, you were bumping.

I was not bumping, I was trying to het help and support, so NO I was not bumping

well if you class bumping as replying to someone, then you need to look at what you class as bumping. Take a look as this message, someone asked me to try something which I had already done, so I replied telling him this and I was warned about bumping !!!!! this is called communicating, I was being polite and replying to the person who was trying to help me.

The moderator wasn’t referring to your polite replies as bumping. Two posts were instead deleted and then a message was placed by the moderator underneath your text as a gentle reminder.

To clarify, by bumping we mean posting for no other reason than to receive attention on the thread.

Looks like you were using the “Free Shipping for Orders Over” feature. So the plugin was removing the shipping as per your setup (since the product price was more than what you specified in there). I have sent you screenshots via email to explain the setup issue you had.
