    Hi Team,

I have an issue with printing shipping labels to my Zebra LP 2844. After a few hours, I have finally identified it is not my printer at fault but something within this plugin so I’m looking for some help.

When I go to print a shipping label everything looks great on the screen but once I print it makes my printer print out an extra label completely blank. If I size it down it feeds less of the next label out, but that is undesirable (As it makes the label really small before the blank stops feeding). It seems like there is some sort of code or setting telling the printer it needs to print a lot of white space above the actual label to fit the label. I am unsure why this is happening. Any ideas on how to fix this? I looked everywhere in the settings and could not find why it was doing this. I would appreciate any and all help.

    Best,
    Jeff

Sorry for size reference I am trying to print a 4″x6″ label on 4.25″x 6.75″ label paper so there should be plenty of room.

    Hi @jeffatrmc ,

It is strange that your printer is printing a blank page along with the label. WooCommerce Services extension only generates the printable file for the shipping label, how the label is then printed depends on printer settings, operating system and any other software that may interact with your printer.

I checked and I see that this is a common issue with Zebra printer, there are some solutions mentioned here: https://www.catalyst-uk-support.com/kb/index.php?title=Why_does_my_Zebra_Label_Printer_Print_a_Blank_Label%3F

Can you please try the solutions mentioned in the link above and see if that helps?

    Hi @wpnomad,

Thank you for your response. I had tried everything on that list, but I finally got it working. It required completely uninstalling the printer removing any of its presence on the computer then reinstalling. Not sure what was happening.

    Best,
    Jeff
