• I have the new v2.6 Shipping Zones setup and I want to create one called ‘Local’ for Local Delivery and Pickup. So I create my zone, click the + button to get to the methods to add but there are only three choices. Flat Rate, Free Shipping and Local Pickup. No Local Delivery even though I see a folder for it in Includes–>Shipping. Actually, two. One for Legacy (which of course, doesn’t work anymore) and one that’s just called “Local Delivery”. So why doesn’t it show up in my options?

Right now, I’m using Flat Rate but I don’t want the name ‘Flat Rate’ to appear in the list of shipping options for the customer. Would confuse them.

Local delivery it’s the same that you create a flat rate for a “local” region in Shipping Zones.

You can change the name, see how easy is: https://cloudup.com/cmwqM0rrzSY

    Hello,

Local Delivery is no longer an available option, as flat rate is essentially the same thing. You can rename the method title (what customers will see) here: https://cld.wthms.co/1gYRS/4tcyjYza

Regarding that folder still existing in core, that is for local pickup, not local delivery.

    (EDIT: what Claudio said ^ -.- )
