    Hi

    Recently, I got an order that did not add shipping to the order (even though it’s noted in the order, it is not added to the final total). This seems to happen somewhat randomly along with sales tax issues on occasion. Everything is up to date (themes, wp, woocoomerce). I use a plugin called Flexible Shipping and they say it seems to be the Web Toffee plugin.

    I’ve also tested it a few times and can’t seem to reproduce the problem.

    The people at Flexible Shipping noted “

    It’s generated by WebToffee PayPal Express Payment.

    In log?you can see the shipping was not included by this plugin.

    This plugin also generated a fatal error on the same day, which might be connected:

    2023-11-04T23:39:21+00:00 CRITICAL Uncaught Error: Call to a member function update_status() on null in…”

    From the information you shared with us, we have came to the conclusion that the shipping address is being modified from the PayPal payment page. Since the tax and shipping fees are calculated on the WooCommerce side with the old address, the change in total amount is not being reflected on the order.

    To resolve this issue, you may disable the Skip review page option in the plugin settings page. Then the order total would be recalculated on the review page based on the modified address.
