Hello
Please can you help me get my head around a shipping puzzle…

I want to have a set of products in my shop that have the delivery included in the sale price as they are sent out individually, irrespective of how many are ordered.

However, I also have a range of products where shipping is calculated by weight and shipping options for the customer to choose from are shown on the basket page.

These shipping options show on the basket page whatever the customer has in the basket – even if it is just the items where the cost is included in the price.

But in this situation they should not be charged postage as the cost is included in the sale price. It should only show the different shipping options to choose from if there are weight-based items in the basket.

So how do I set things up so that if only shipping included items are in the basket, no shipping options are provided but it just says shipping included. I had assigned a shipping class to these items but it hasn’t had the desired effect, so I think I have not understood correctly.

Any ideas?

I understand that you want to exclude the shipping option for a specific product in which the shipping price was already included in the product price, is that correct?
