shipping rate problem variation products

  • Hi, im not sure if it has something to do with the virtue theme or woocommerce but maby someone can help me im desperate.
    Something suddenly change and for many days there was only showing the picking up option whitout my klowledge until one customer asked me why cant he choose shipping option! OMG many days without sellings and i didnt undesratnd why.
    Now i have noticed that in my shipping classes there was a new tab “No shipping class cost” and it was empty. its for those products with no shipping classes specified so when i entered a price i seemed to be fixed BUT. i have notices it actually still has a very big problem.
    All the products with variations have a Father shipping class and i didnt specified again shipping class inside each variation. but now since this new tab appeard all my products with variation are showing the same shipping rate the “noshipping class” rate. which means variations are not reading the “father shipping class”
    i checked that out by adding the shipping class inside a variation then in started working. What can i do. it is crazy to add the shipping class to each variation it may take me months! what the hell happend ?! why did it suddenly changed how can i fix this? is this a wordpress update? anybody

    Hey,

    Woocommerce just had a major update and some of the way things work has changed. I’m not sure if anything was done in the shipping area, but if you’re using a plugin with your shipping classes, it’s possible that it’s not updated to work with the new woocommerce.

    This however is not controlled by the theme, so I unfortunately don’t have very much information beyond this. Have you tried contacting the woocommerce support?

    They should be able to give you much more information regarding this issue.
