Shipping Tax not calculated

    Hello,

    I have a problem with my website and woocommerce about the shippment tax which is not applied in the description

    The price (22.9) is Tax included and the shippment too (9.9).

    So the Total amount (32.8) is well correct but the description text is wrong “includes?CHF?1.72?Tax”

    The Tax rate is 8.1 so 1.72 correspond only to the price 22.9 and doesn’t include the Shippment.

    I have updated to the latest version of woocommerce, using Divi and I don’t have additional plugin about tax or shippment which could enter in conflict.

    Hi @lionelst,

    Thank you for your message. From your settings, I see you’re charging an 8.1% tax only for Switzerland. Can you confirm the order has a shipping address for Switzerland?

    To be sure, can you check by disabling the WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping plugin, too, please?

    To dive deeper and try to replicate this issue, kindly send a screenshot of the Post Echo shipping method settings in your Switzerland shipping zone.

    Also, do you notice this is happening storewide or just with a few items?

    Hello Juan,

    Thank you very much for your feedback.
    In checking the areas you have mentionned I realized where it was coming from.

    I think in the past I’ve put the tax status as not Taxable in the Post Eco because it was adding the VAT in addition of the shipping price already defined with the VAT (like the products) Eventhought I’ve put in the Tax setting that all the prices should include tax – but I guess it applies only for the Product and not the shipment.

    It’s not so practical but then I’ve re-included the Tax status to Taxable and I’ve recalculated a shipment price without VAT included so it calculates now properly the VAT in the description in the Cart.
