Shipping zones not displaying properly on checkout

  • Hello, good day, please i have a serious issue with my shipping zones, e.t.c.
    ” when i create a zone for example, called nassarawa local govt area, in Kano state region. i create another zone called fagge L.G.A still in kano state region, thats 2 zones=1.nassarawa, and Fagge. all these are in Kano state region. but in my checkout page, only the first zones shows, even when i input adress of Fagge L.G.A i have tried all i could and am frustrated. please help me admin. what do i do . see screenshot below

    Hey there!

    WooCommerce works through the shipping zones from top to bottom. Once one is matched, all will display rates from all the shipping methods in that zone.

    In your second screenshot, I see that you have Kano in there twice. Each geographical region can only be in one shipping zone.

    thanks for your reply dear, but now in my case i have various province/local govt in kano region. and kano is where i am only shipping to as a state. how do i set up different zones under kano in a country Nigeria.

    Hi there,

    In order to restrict the zone to only specific parts of Kano, you would also need to restrict to specific postal codes like this:

    postal code

    Then when entering a shipping address, it will only match that zone if it has that postal code.

    thanks dear fro this answer. but i have tried and still its not restricting to postal codes, an issue in the map i see a different postal code. from what i asee in google, i even try the 2 but still not working. do u know of a link that has real postal codes of nigeria.

    hello guys, please i need help with a small issue, please how do i add a sound or ping notice when i get an order in woo-commerce, because i have to keep refreshing my browser all the time and this is frustrating at times i even dont see orders on time. please is there any plugin i can use for this purpose. thanks
